Cold sores are typically a manifestation of the non-curable herpes simplex virus. If left alone, most cold sores will eventually fade away without treatment, but this can take several weeks.
A cold sore is not welcome on your face, or anywhere else, for that matter. Not only are they cosmetically unappealing, they can be downright painful. Let’s get over the fact they’re caused by the herpes virus. We all know it, and that aspect gets far too much attention. Defining cold sores simply for what they are, they are small, fluid filled lesions that pop up generally on or around your lips. The blisters often group together, and after they break, a crust forms over the resulting sore.
Try this simple trick to get rid of cold sores. All you need is a single garlic clove. Garlic in all its forms strengthens immunity, facilitates the work of the stomach, the heart, thyroid, “cleans” the vessels, prevents the formation of tumors and rejuvenates the body.
According to some researchers, allicin has a strong bacteriostatic effect which helps cure infections faster. Garlic can also fight fungal infections, which makes garlic a much more valuable medicine than that of many of today’s antibiotics.
Finely chop one garlic clove. Then press the garlic gently on the cold sore or sores.
If the cold sore is large repeat several times with new pieces of garlic.
Leave it for ten minutes, then rinse with lukewarm water.
It will sting, but you will notice an immediate relief.
In most cases, garlic kills the cold sore immediately.
