The leaves of this plant are used for medical purposes as well as being used as a drug. Kratom can be taken in various ways; swallowed in powder form, smoked, drank made in tea, chewed, or taken in a capsule. The most common way to use Kratom is by chewing a fresh leaf, you could also chew a dry leaf, but since the leaves are dried, they are tougher to chew. If using the powder form, you can mix it with a drink to make it easier to swallow.
